We only collect what we need to make and deliver your cake, and to keep in touch if you ask us to.

Your name, WhatsApp number and email address. Your birthday (day and month only), only if you choose to give it. Your order details: flavours, size, date, colours, notes and any inspiration photos you upload. If you mention allergies in your notes, we keep that so we can plan your cake. A record that a payment was made. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your full card details. The messages you send us on WhatsApp or Instagram.

To quote, make and deliver your order, take your deposit and balance, and send your order confirmation, quote and payment and pick-up reminders. With your permission only: news, offers, seasonal menus and a birthday message.

Only the services we need to run the business: Stripe (payments), Xero (invoices and accounts), Google (email), WhatsApp and Instagram (messages), and Cloudflare (our website host and order database). We never sell your details. Some of these services store data outside Australia.

The box on the order form is unticked until you tick it. Every message has an easy way to stop. Tell us or use the unsubscribe link and we will stop within 5 working days. We only send a birthday message if you agreed to news and offers.

Payment and invoice records are kept for 5 years, as tax rules require. Your name, WhatsApp number and email are deleted 2 years after your last order, unless you have signed up for news and offers. Photos you send us for inspiration are deleted 90 days after pick-up. If you unsubscribe, we keep only enough to remember not to contact you.

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it or delete it, by messaging or emailing us. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, tell us first and we will fix it.

This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking. It stores one small setting in your browser, your language choice, and nothing that identifies you.
